Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 11, 2026
1. Introduction and Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you visit usafireworks.com (the "Site") or place wholesale orders through it. "We" and "us" refer to the operator of the Site, identified in the Contact section below.
The Site serves wholesale buyers in the United States. This Policy describes our practices for the information we handle in operating the Site.
2. Information You Provide
When you register for an account or update your profile, we collect:
- Contact details: first and last name, email address, and phone number
- Business details: company name and your U.S. Employer Identification Number (EIN)
- Addresses: company address and shipping address
- Account credentials: a username and a password
- Optional details you choose to provide, such as the name of a sales representative who referred you
We also keep records of the orders you place, including shipping marks, ports, incoterms, and payment terms, and any documents you upload in connection with an order.
3. Account and Authentication Data
Passwords are stored only as a bcrypt hash; we cannot read your password. When you sign in, we issue a JSON Web Token that keeps you signed in for 48 hours. That token is stored in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie.
4. Communications
The Site offers an automated chat assistant. Messages you send through it, and the replies you receive, are stored on our servers. This applies whether you are signed in or browsing anonymously. If you are signed in, the assistant may also receive your account and company details so it can answer questions about your orders.
5. Usage and Analytics Data
We record basic page-view statistics to understand how the Site is used. Each record contains the page path, a traffic-source category (such as direct, search engine, or referral), the referring URL, a device class (desktop, mobile, tablet), a country, and a timestamp.
We do not store your IP address. To determine a general country location, your IP address is sent to a geolocation service for a one-time lookup, and only the resulting country name is retained. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not track you across other websites.
6. How We Use Information
- To create and administer your account and verify wholesale eligibility
- To prepare quotes, process orders, and arrange shipping
- To communicate with you about orders, payments, and your account
- To operate and improve the Site, including its catalog and search
- To provide customer support, including through the chat assistant
- To maintain the security and integrity of the Site, and to comply with applicable law
8. Service Providers and International Transfers
We share information with service providers that help us operate the Site:
- AI assistant providers: the content of chat conversations is processed by a third-party AI provider. When you are signed in, that content may include your account details (such as your name, email, phone number, company, addresses, and EIN) so the assistant can answer questions about your account.
- Email delivery: order confirmations and account notices are sent through an email service provider.
- Geolocation: visitor IP addresses are sent to a geolocation service solely to determine a country, as described above.
- Catalog synchronization: product information is synchronized to third-party storefronts. This contains product data only, never customer data.
Some of these providers, and our own operations, are located outside the United States — including in China. As a result, your information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions that may not provide the same level of data protection as your home jurisdiction. Where required, we take steps to protect information in transit.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
9. Data Retention
We retain account and order information for as long as your account is active and afterward as needed to meet our legal, accounting, and commercial record-keeping obligations. Chat logs and page-view statistics are retained for a limited period and then deleted.
10. Security
We use administrative and technical measures intended to protect information, including hashed passwords and encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over the personal information we hold about you. Where a right applies to you, we honor it. These rights may include the right to:
- Know the categories of personal information we collect, the purposes for which we use it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it
- Request access to, or a copy of, the personal information we hold about you
- Request that we correct inaccurate personal information
- Request that we delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions
- Obtain information about any disclosure of your personal information to third parties
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is no sale or sharing to opt out of. We do not use your personal information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.
If you are a California resident, these rights are provided by the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act. If you live in another state with a comprehensive privacy law — such as Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, or Utah — you may have similar rights, including the right to appeal a decision we make on a request. These laws generally protect individuals acting as consumers; some of the information we handle relates to businesses acting through their personnel.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in the Contact section below. We will verify your identity before acting on a request and will respond within the time required by applicable law. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, in which case we may require proof of your authorization. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
12. Children's Privacy
The Site is a business-to-business wholesale platform and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children. Because the Site sells consumer fireworks, purchases are subject to minimum-age requirements that are enforced at the point of sale and shipment.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date shown at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through the Site or by email.
14. Data Controller and Governing Law
The data controller responsible for the personal information described in this Policy is the operator of the Site identified in the Contact section below. The operator is established in the People's Republic of China.
This Policy is governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in this Policy limits any right you may have under the mandatory privacy or consumer-protection laws of the state or country in which you live, which apply in addition to this Policy.
